“Diplomatic relations between the Czech Republic and the European Union on the one hand, and Russia on the other, are dead. As a result, we are unable to fulfil our obligations and develop our business on the Russian market. In 2022 alone, AO Primoco BPLA lost contracted orders worth RUB 1 billion, equivalent to EUR 12 million. I do not expect any significant improvement in relations between Europe and Russia in the foreseeable future, and we have therefore decided to take this step and sell 100% of the shares,” said Ladislav Semetkovský, CEO.
About the Company
The Czech company Primoco UAV manufactures the One 150 civil and military unmanned aircraft, which it developed itself. These aircraft are capable of flying fully autonomously according to programmed flight plans, including fully automatic take-off and landing. One of the aircraft’s key features is its exceptional endurance, which allows it to remain airborne continuously for more than 15 hours at a cruising speed of 100–150 km/h, representing a range of up to 2,000 km.
With a maximum take-off weight of 150 kg and a payload capacity of 30 kg, the One 150 aircraft can be used for a wide variety of deployments in both civil and military operations. The company’s aircraft are currently used on three continents, for example for inspections of pipelines and distribution networks in the energy sector, border and coastal security, fire monitoring, and search-and-rescue operations. Primoco UAV SE is a publicly traded company on the Prague Stock Exchange.
